The fast-approaching 2018 edition of Riyadh Travel Fair is expected to welcome an impressive 30,000 visitors.
Taking place from April 10-13 at Al Faisaliah Hotel, Riyadh, the event will present attendees with business networking opportunities, insightful seminar sessions and ministerial discussions. The exhibition will also reflect on the tourism industry’s achievements over the last 12 months.
The 2018 edition of Riyadh Travel Fair will be the largest to date, with a considerable rise having been witnessed in the number of exhibitors and an anticipated increase in visitor arrivals. Over 270 exhibitors hailing from more than 50 countries will partake in the event. This year, the show floor space will also be 10 per cent larger to accommodate this rise.
General manager, ASAS Exhibitions – organiser of Riyadh Travel Fair, Bander Al Gryni commented: “Last year the Riyadh Travel Fair featured 270 exhibitors with visitor attendance at 27,329. That was an increase of 30 per cent compared to the 2016 edition. This year will continue our year-on-year growth as exhibitors hit over 270 and expected visitors numbers over 30,000.”
Al Gryni continued: “Year after year, we have seen a consistent positive growth on the number of participants, exhibitors and attendees. With Saudi nationals increasingly travelling both domestically and overseas, the opportunities that the Riyadh Travel Fair provides for domestic and overseas destinations, hospitality service providers and other tourism related businesses, to directly meet with the kingdom’s leading travel professionals and travellers has never been more significant.”
