Asia Pacific Incentives and Meetings Event (AIME) 2020 – the leading meetings and incentives event in the region – kicked off today (February 17) in Melbourne.
The 2020 show floor sees over 330 exhibitors from all over the Asia Pacific and wider world in attendance, with over 2,500 industry professionals and 13 tailored educational development programmes from which to learn.
Reaffirming the event’s trajectory for success and flexibility to adapt, CEO, Talk2 Media & Events, Matt Pearce said: “When working in any event you’ll always have to consider the ‘what if’ – whether it’s meeting guest expectations or being challenged by a global crisis. Ultimately, we are the first large-scale event of the year and we know people are keen to get on with and drive their businesses. This is even more true this year – and we are looking forward to seeing positive business connections come to life.”
The show floor is hosting over 100 regional Australian exhibitors, highlighting the strong approach from Tourism Australia, the Victorian State Government and the national events community to offset some of the impact of bushfires to drive business into the affected areas.
