InterContinental Residence Suites Dubai Festival City (DFC) has been busy constructing 52 additional suites to cater to the increasing demand for extended-stay accommodation in Dubai.

This project forms a fundamental part of a multi-million-dollar programme to enhance the iconic Marsa Plaza development, in which the property is located.

Meticulously designed by interior design company MAZARAKI – FBK, the new suites boast an artfully contemporary look, a soothing colour palette of warms greys, golds, purples and plum, and incredibly stylish furniture and art pieces curated by Eastern Fusion.

The project was spearheaded by the newly appointed area general manager, Mathieu van Alphen.

He said: “The extended stay market is growing year-on-year and we have now a unique opportunity to capitalise on this with 52 additional units. The rooms are exceptional and are designed to fit the sophisticated needs of the modern-day traveller.”

In an ideal location for business and leisure guests alike, InterContinental Residence Suites DFC is within arm’s reach of Dubai Festival City Mall, Downtown Dubai and the Dubai International Finance Centre.

The property is the perfect option for long-stay guests, providing them with incomparable comfort and services, as well as the amenities of a five-star hotel.

Those staying at InterContinental Residence Suites DFC can enjoy add-on services including in-room dining, on call doctors, limousine drivers, same-day dry cleaning, babysitting and secretarial services.

As well as the additional 52 suites at InterContinental Residence Suites DFC, Marsa Plaza’s enhancement project entailed the development of the central driveway and landscaping.
