BWI refreshes its Facebook fan page

Best Western International (BWI) has informed that it has refreshed its Facebook Fan Page and kicked-off a new Facebook contest.
Fans of BWI’s new Facebook page now have the chance to win prizes in Best Western’s ‘FLIP for FUN’ contest.
From June 15 until July 20, Best Western Asia & Middle East’s Facebook fans are being given the chance to FLIP their Facebook profile pictures to the Best Western Asia & Middle East logo. Fans who keep the logo as their profile picture for a whole week stand a chance to win a Best Western Travel Card.
The ‘FLIP for FUN’ contest will run for five weeks, and BWI intends to announce the weekly winners on its new Facebook Fan Page every Friday.
Commenting on the refreshed Fan Page and the ‘FLIP for FUN’ contest, vice president international operations – Asia & the Middle East, BWI, Glenn de Souza said: “Social media has become one of the most important marketing and customer relations tools in the world today, and Best Western is at the forefront of this revolution.”
“And I can’t think of a better way to re-launch this fantastic new page than with the ‘FLIP for FUN’ contest. It’s engaging, fun and we think it will be incredibly popular with our Facebook fans,” de Souza added.
The new-look Facebook Fan Page and ‘FLIP for FUN’ campaign form part of a major, multi-pronged Facebook strategy for Best Western.
BWI claims to have one on the world’s largest Facebook followings in the hospitality industry, with almost 480,000 fans across the globe.
Best Western also recently became one of the first major hospitality companies anywhere in the world to enable guests to make hotel bookings direct from its Facebook fan page.
