JW Marriott Hotel Dubai appoints new resident manager

Being welcomed as JW Marriott Hotel Dubai’s new resident manager is industry professional, Richard Bleakley.
Recently arrived from the UK, Bleakley brings with him more than 12 years of experience in the hospitality industry, during which time he represented several Marriott hotels in Europe, before joining the Middle East team in January 2012.
Commencing his hospitality career with Marriott in 2000, Richard worked in key positions throughout the UK, from director of sales and marketing, to the regional director of sales and marketing, handling a multi-million account portfolio.
In 2009, Bleakley moved to the position of director of operations at Marriott Forest of Arden Hotel & Country Club, before taking up the challenge as general manager for three years in Northhampton Marriott Hotel.
In his new role as resident manager at JW Marriott Hotel Dubai, Bleakley is to oversee the front office, room operations, housekeeping, laundry, and the Griffins Health Club.
