Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates has new executive chef

Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates has welcomed a new executive chef to be at the helm of its constantly evolving F&B operation.

Sudqi Naddaf has joined the F&B team of Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates, bringing along a 20-year career in the culinary world – six of which have been spent as part of the Kempinski group in properties across the Middle East.

“Having a regional culinary star such as Chef Sudqi take the reins at our property reflects the success we enjoy in terms of attracting and retaining some of the best talent in the business,” said general manager, Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates, Alejandro Bernabé.

“Our approach is always to keep things exciting for our patrons while retaining the high quality that has won us the loyalty of thousands of guests. Our success so far reflects our ability to keep happy customers returning while continuing to win new fans.”

Naddaf, named the champion for Middle East and Africa for ‘Kempinski The Spa Cuisine’ as well as a popular TV celebrity back home in Jordan, who hosted the call-in cooking show ‘Baity’, is a well-recognised authority in his field.

Naddaf is also the creator of the highest cake – a 65-tier creation baked to celebrate Jordan’s 65th National Day – displayed in the lobby of Kempinski Hotel Ishtar Dead Sea.

Commenting on his appointment Chef Naddaf said: “It is exciting to move to a city that has a truly mature dining landscape comparable with that found in some of the world’s biggest culinary capitals. The Dubai F&B scene is highly competitive which offers an excellent impetus for chefs like me to keep things fresh for diners.”
