Kempinski Hotel Ishtar Dead Sea and Kempinski Hotel Aqaba Red Sea announced that they held the second annual Career Day at Kempinski Hotel Amman as part of their community involvement initiatives and their ongoing support of talent from the local community.
The career day witnessed a successful interaction between hundreds of local candidates and top executives and managers of the two hotels.
“We see the importance of offering career opportunities to the local market on a regular basis as part of
Kempinski's commitment to the communities it operates in, as well as a desire to find candidates who are willing to learn and eager to work for Kempinski Hotels,” said general manager, Kempinski Hotel Ishtar Dead Sea, Patrick Ritter.
“We are seeking qualified candidates with a passion for the five-star hotel business who are looking for growth opportunities within a worldwide company.
“Jordan has a rich history of hospitality and we have gained some excellent talent from this market. Many of whom have risen to leadership levels in their departments and have had opportunities to work for Kempinski in other exciting destinations.”
Labelled by management as Europe's oldest luxury hotel group, Kempinski is committed to attracting the best talent in each of thirty-one countries where its hotels are located. A great example is
Chef Sudqi Al Naddaf who started his career with Kempinski at Kempinski Hotel Aqaba Red Sea and has now moved to Kempinski Mall of the Emirates in Dubai as executive chef; as well as
Wissam Sulieman who started his career with Kempinski at Kempinski Hotel Ishtar Dead Sea and is now the general manager at
Kempinski Residences & Suites Doha, Qatar.
