Liverpool Convention Bureau offers airport transfer

Liverpool Convention Bureau has added airport transfers to their services, one of the first destination bureaus to do so in the UK.

In conjunction with partner INTX Corporate Transport and Logistics, Liverpool Convention Bureau is offering all associations, conference bookers and delegates a secure online pre-bookable transfer service from Liverpool John Lennon Airport and Manchester International Airport.

As part of the service, a booking site is expected to be set up by INTX in which delegates book and manage their own transfers, with no involvement required by the conference organiser. No fee is due to be levied on organisers for operating the transfer service and no minimum or maximum numbers apply.

Designed to make the city even more delegate-friendly, it ensures that Liverpool provides a range of travel choices bookable through Liverpool Convention Bureau.

Liverpool Convention Bureau manager, Carol O’Reilly commented: “With a growing number of international conferences taking place in the city, we felt it was the right time to incorporate airport transfers into our product offering.
“Liverpool is renowned for offering the warmest welcome to all its visitors, and this service further highlights our commitment to ensuring that all delegates are made welcome in the city and that all their needs are met.”

The airport transfer service is in addition to other transport facilities available through Liverpool Convention Bureaus partner PJ Chauffeurs, providing a 24/7 service for private bookings and groups.

Director, INTX Corporate Transport and Logistics, Andrew Globe added: “We are delighted to be partnering with Liverpool Convention Bureau to further enhance the Liverpool delegate welcome by providing a reliable, value for money, round-the-clock transfer service to the increasing number of conference delegates visiting the city.”
