Mövenpick Beach Resort Al Khobar wins ‘Best Specialised Resort’ award

Mövenpick Beach Resort Al Khobar has been recognised as the ‘Best Specialised Resort’ in 2011 in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, at the Saudi Excellence in Tourism Awards, during which nearly 100,000 votes were cast across 22 categories, with over 600 nominations.
The accolade was received by managing director, Eastern Rehab Company for Tourism Investment, Turki Al Mohaisen, and resort manager, Mövenpick Beach Resort Al Khobar, Hiren Prabhakar at a ceremony in Riyadh..
The awards were presented by president, Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities, HRH Prince Sultan Bin Salman, at the Riyadh Exhibition Centre.
Chairman of the jury, Saudi Excellence in Tourism Awards, Abdulmohsen bin Abdullah Al Hajji said: “These awards aim to recognise achievements of various businesses and industrial activities within the growing tourism sector of the Kingdom, to motivate individuals and companies to achieve the highest possible standards, and to encourage the further development and improvement of tourist products and services.”
Resort manager, Mövenpick Beach Resort Al Khobar, Hiren Prabhakar commented: “We are proud to have received such a prestigious honour within the first year of our operation.
