SATA opens Dubai branch

Sharjah Airport Travel agency (SATA) has announced the opening of a new branch in Dubai.

Chairman, Department of Civil Aviation, HE Shaikh Abdulla Bin Mohammed Al Thani officially inaugurated the office, in the presence of chairman, Sharjah Airport Authority, Ghanem Al Hajri; director general, Sharjah Airport Authority, Ali Salim Al Midfa; director general, Department of Civil Aviation, HE Sheikh Khalid Bin Isam Al Qassimi; general manager, SATA, Arshad Munir along with other government officials, airline and trade partners.
 
Al Hajri remarked: “We believe that the Dubai branch will provide the best and most innovative products and travel solutions to all our discerning customers according to the highest travel and ticketing standards. We will remain faithful to our expansion plans by opening new branches in vital areas. We believe that it is very important to access the important market such as Dubai which will contribute to increase SATA’s customer base. It reflects positively on its operations and revenues. This is the first branch in Dubai and the 11th Branch in the UAE, which will add a substantial value to SATA network in 2012.”
 
Munir added: “Adding another feather to the cap, we are opening our 11th branch in City Bay Center, next to Ramada Continental hotel and opposite Abu Hail metro station 2, Dubai. The location is one of the most easily accessed, with Abu hail metro station 2 and Abu Hail bus stand just few yards away. We always hope to deliver our customers something distinct and extra ordinary keeping pace with our expansion plan. This branch is manned by experienced and highly trained travel professionals who will endeavour to provide seamless service to all our esteemed clients visiting this location.
 
“We aspire to widen our aspects by opening our next branch in Abu Dhabi and shortly open our branches in other emirates.”
 
SATA operates a 24-hour branch at Sharjah International Airport, and its services include airlines reservation and ticketing, inbound and outbound holidays, inbound activities, worldwide hotel reservation, car rental, travel insurance, Umrah service, visa assistance services and much more.
