Abu Dhabi Airports is currently taking part at the 2018 Arabian Travel Market (ATM) to enhance its airline network and promote its VIP terminal at Abu Dhabi International Airport (AUH).
Abu Dhabi Airports will participate alongside the Abu Dhabi Department of Culture & Tourism (DCT).
Throughout the four-day event, its team will meet with potential and current airline partners, focusing on the exclusive services available at AUH’s VIP terminal.
Commenting on the company’s participation was acting chief commercial officer, Abu Dhabi Airports, Saoud Al Shamsi: “We are continuously working towards fortifying Abu Dhabi International Airport’s presence as a key airport hub within the region, by enhancing our existing network and connecting with new and wider markets globally. ATM provides a comprehensive and holistic platform ideal to meet new strategic partners, which boosts the capital’s viability as a competitive hub for aviation and travel.”
Al Shamsi continued: “We are optimistic about the sector’s performance in the coming years that will continue to be key in our efforts to implement enhancements to our services, especially with studies predicting an 82.5 per cent increase in outbound travel from the GCC alone, over the next 10 years. It also reiterates our commitment to effectively and actively contribute to the Abu Dhabi’s Economic Vision, through the development of one of its key pillars; the aviation and aerospace industry.”
