AccorHotels has inked two agreements with Khamas Group of Investments, a multi-industry investor and operator, for two upper upscale MGallery properties in Dubai: MGallery Dubai Business Bay and MGallery Bur Dubai.
Scheduled for a 2021 opening, MGallery Dubai Business Bay will house 144 keys, a trendy rooftop bar and restaurant, rooftop pool bar, all-day dining restaurant and executive lounge. The new property will stand adjacent to the upcoming Marasi Business Bay development and in close proximity to leisure projects such as the Dubai Design District and Dubai Canal. MGallery Dubai Business Bay will occupy the same building as Mama Shelter, designed by Franklin Azzi and Thierry Gaugain.
Moving on, MGallery Bur Dubai is scheduled to open in August this year, following a re-branding project. It will house 164 rooms, seven F&B options, two night clubs, an indoor heated pool and rooftop swimming pool and spa. The property is within arm’s reach of the Dubai Gold Souq and Al Fahidi Historical District and new developments such as La Mer, City Walk, Al Seef and The Pearl Jumeirah.
