This year’s edition of the Arabian Hotel Investment Conference (AHIC) will grant attendees valuable insight into modern-day leadership, forward-thinking investment and new operating models, provided by a fantastic line-up of speakers.
The event is scheduled to take place from April 17-19, 2018, at the purpose-built AHIC Village in Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah’s grounds. It will address critical topics such as innovation, leadership, destination development and industry disruptors amid the macroeconomic outlook from the investors’ perspective.
AHIC 2018 is expected to welcome 700 top hotel investors, developers, financiers and C-level hotel executives, all of whom will be taking part in three days of content, networking and events. Visitors can look forward to live-on-stage interviews with respected businessmen and hotel leaders as well as the first AHIC Global Project Showcase, featuring worldwide hospitality investment opportunities.
Inaugurating the event, held in partnership with Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority (RAKTDA), will be UAE Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, HH Sheikh Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi, who will give an opening speech. This keynote will be followed by an interview with founder and chairman, Emaar Properties, HE Mohamed Alabbar.

AHIC 2018 will also bring some of the world’s leading hotel CEOs (including CEO, IHG, Keith Barr and CEO, Groupe du Louvre, Pierre-Frédéric Roulot) to Dubai for a ‘Global CEO in the Hot Seat’ series. Meanwhile, the CEOs behind some of the industry’s hottest new brands will also take to the stage, including CEO, 25hours Hotel Company, Christoph Hoffmann; CEO and managing partner, Standard International, Amar Lalvani; and Owner – Tungsten Partners and Partner – Ace Group International, Michael Bisordi.
