Dubai International Airport (DXB) recently welcomed Air India’s very first flights from Indore and Kolkata.
The Indian airline will now be offering thrice weekly services from Indore to Dubai. This route marks the first international flight out of the city, which is the commercial capital of the state of Madhya Pradesh.
Aboard the inaugural Indore-Dubai service was the airline’s chairman and managing director, Ashwani Lohani. All passengers and crew were warmly welcomed by representatives of Dubai Airports and its service partners.
As for the new Kolkata-Dubai services, this route will also be operated thrice weekly.
DXB is now served by four Indian carriers, which collectively operate a total of 382 weekly flights to 20 points across India.
