Airlines head to Farnborough International Airshow 2016

The Farnborough International Airshow opened yesterday welcoming more airlines than ever before.

Furthermore, the biennial aviation showcase will once again play host to the Skytrax World Airline Awards, taking place today.

The Skytrax World Airline Awards are particularly important to airlines because they are decided directly by customers and recognised as the global benchmark of airline excellence. A vast list of airlines from across the globe are expected at Farnborough this year including Lufthansa, Thai Airways Air France, ANA, Emirates Airline, AirAsia, Turkish Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Norwegian and Qatar Airways. Their attendance reinforces the importance of Farnborough International Airshow as the place where orders are announced.
