Airport Show is launching a series of webinars on July 7 to facilitate vital discussions between airport industry professionals regarding the current challenges brought forth by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The all-new Airport Show Insights webinars come hot on the heels of the successful Airport Show Podcast series. The webinars will facilitate live panel discussions on trending topics and the latest developments in the global airport industry, and will provide another platform for airport professionals to share their expertise, best practices and case studies, while also shedding light on the latest innovations and solutions.

All webinars can be attended free-of-charge and are Continuing Professional Development (CPD) certified.

Travel Forward 20

On July 7, the very first 60-minute webinar, taking place at 15:00 UAE time, will be on ‘Preparing Ground Support Equipment for Post-Covid-19 Operations’. Panellists include owner and founder, Air Business Consultants, Hervé Gueusquin; Area sales manager – Middle East, ITW GSE, Benjamin Violet; area sales manager GSE Middle East, JBT Aerotech, Lamis Al Kaati; and senior manager, TrackIT, Vijaii Nair.

The second topic in the webinar series will be ‘Air Traffic Control (ATC) Challenges and Opportunities to Support a Rapid Recovery of the Aviation Industry’, which is scheduled for July 29 at 14:00. The ATC focused webinar series will continue with sessions on August 11 August and September 22, which will include a sneak preview of a live feed from an actual digital tower in Europe.

On August 19, the third topic, ‘Ensuring Passenger Satisfaction in the new Airport Environment’, will investigate ways to revive passenger confidence in air travel and the latest solutions in enhancing their journey, while the fourth topic will look at Airport Security under the title of ‘How Covid-19 will be the Greatest Airport Security Disruptor of all times’. This will take place on September 8.

Airport Show’s 20th edition is scheduled to take place from October 26-28 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
