Dubai’s Al Bustan Centre & Residence recently hosted a financial literacy seminar, in partnership with the Nexus Group, to inform its employees of the best ways to plan for the future.
The seminar, hosted by Nexus Group’s authorised consultant, Jay Tolentino, shed light on how to leverage and manage available financial resources, how to budget one’s lifestyle and how to plan for retirement.
Also discussed were the vital steps of financial planning, such as improving cash flow, getting out of debt, setting up an emergency fund, insuring and investing for the future, plus much more.
Commenting on the initiative was chief operating officer, Al Bustan Centre and Residence, Moussa El Hayek: “Studies have shown that when a person’s finances suffer, so does their health and well-being. When people are worried about money, it is often difficult for them to focus at work. It is important for individuals to take control of their financial future and for this it is imperative to educate them on how to manage their finances properly.
“We are glad to have this opportunity to conduct a financial literacy seminar for our employees and to equip them with the necessary knowledge to make an informed choice,” El Hayek added.
