Saudi-based Al Ghazal Travel has selected Sabre Corporation as its technology partner, in order to support its expansion strategy, provide more bespoke travel services and boost customer satisfaction.
Following this new alliance, Al Ghazal Travel will gain access to Sabre’s marketplace of more than 420 airlines, 750,000 hotel properties and hundreds of tour operators, rail, car and cruise providers. The Saudi-based travel agency will now be able to sell more personalised travel packages from suppliers spanning the globe.
General manager, Al Ghazal Travel, Ahmed Taleb Al Ghazal commented: “We started in KSA in the 70s and are known for our uncompromised level of service and passion for technology. Today, we are eyeing regional expansion and wanted a reliable partner to help us thrive and grow. Sabre has the right innovative technology, global expertise, and dedicated team to help us achieve our ambitious plan.”
The agency will make use of the new Sabre Red Work Space (nSRW) to differentiate its offerings, compete more effectively and grow faster in the regions it serves. The solution delivers a differentiated value to customers by focusing on three core areas: adding industry-leading content, providing data-driven insights and taking the work out of the workspace.
Regional commercial director and global partners, Sabre Travel Network Middle East, Ramzi Al Qassab commented on the new partnership: “Al Ghazal Travel is a dynamic, forward-thinking agency with the potential to tap into the region’s huge increase in travel demand. Sabre has unrivalled expertise in the Middle East and is therefore the ideal partner for growth. Our worldwide network of travel suppliers will help Al Ghazal to offer a wealth of choice to its travellers, spearheading it towards competing with the industry’s global players.”
