Al Manara, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Saraya Aqaba racked up four coveted awards at the Jordan Sweets & Pastries Exhibition (JOSPEX) 2019.
Held mid-March, the event worked to boost this important industry in Jordan by offering a platform for professional personnel and entities in this field to network, share their experiences and showcase their skills and products.
Al Manara, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Saraya Aqaba competed alongside renowned hotels and restaurants and achieved three gold medals and one bronze medal.
The property’s Chef Abdullah Abu Obaid scooped the gold medal for the bread display, presenting loaves, French baguettes and much more in an artistic way, while Chef Ahmad Hasan Saleh accomplished the gold medal for making four attractive plates of dessert. Chef Mohammad Al Kronz achieved the gold medal for a breakfast bakery display of croissants, sweet pastries and brioche, all showcased in an irresistible order. Lastly, Barista Fadi Nawafleh won a bronze medal for making the best barista.
On the victories, hotel manager, Al Manara, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Saraya Aqaba, Pedro Rodriguez noted: “We are extremely proud of the successes of our master chefs, as they undoubtedly presented their lead in the hospitality industry.
