Marriott International has announced the opening of its seventh property in Algeria, the Sheraton Annaba.
The hospitality giant already operates six hotels in the country, and has a further six hotels under development to add to its extensive portfolio.
Enthusing on the latest opening was president and managing director, Marriott International, Middle East and Africa, Alex Kyriakidis: “We are delighted to strengthen our partnership with Société d’Investissement Hôtelière, as we open our seventh hotel in Algeria. The opening of Sheraton Annaba further underlines our commitment to growth and expansion in Algeria, a market which continues to be integral to our overall development strategy throughout Africa.”
Sheraton Annaba is situated within easy access from the airport and some of the city’s key attractions. The property offers views of the Mediterranean Sea and the scenic coastal city.
The hotel boasts 201 guestrooms, including 15 executive suites and a presidential suite, spread across 18 floors.
Those opting for club rooms and suites will benefit from exclusive access to the Sheraton Club Lounge, which guarantees personalised services.
Sheraton Annaba additionally features over 1400m2 of contemporary meeting facilities, including high-speed WiFi and a full-service business centre, providing corporate guests with flexible meeting options and numerous other services.
Finally, leisure facilities include a 24-hour fitness centre, an outdoor pool, a spa and an outdoor tennis court.
