Complementing the Go Safe Certification Programme led by the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi), it has now become mandatory for all tourism sector staff in the UAE capital to undergo regular COVID-19 testing.

This initiative forms part of DCT Abu Dhabi’s extensive and ongoing efforts to guarantee the health and safety of its residents and visitors, and comes hot on the heels of the new ‘Rediscover Abu Dhabi’ campaign, which offers a huge variety of staycation and touristic offers.

The UAE capital has gained international praise for its efforts to contain the spread of COVID-19, and the emirate continues to achieve positive outcomes thanks to the initiatives and regulations put in place.
