Marriott International has announced the opening of Aloft Dhahran in Saudi Arabia, which represents its second Aloft Hotels-branded property in the country after Aloft Riyadh.
The newly opened hotel stands in the centre of the city across from the Mall of Dhahran, and is in close proximity to Dhahran Technovalley.
Enthusing on the news was president and managing director – Middle East and Africa, Marriott International, Alex Kyriakidis: “We are delighted to open our second Aloft in the Kingdom with the Fawaz Al Hokair Group, further strengthening our position in the country. Aloft is regarded as one of the fastest growing brands in the history of hospitality and we have seen a strong demand for the brand in the Middle East with its distinctive design, accessible technologies and social atmosphere.”
Aloft Dhahran is home to 262 spacious loft-inspired guest rooms, an outdoor rooftop Splash pool, a 24-hour re:charge fitness centre, flexible indoor and outdoor meeting space, re:fuel – a 24 hour grab & go snack bar, and the brand’s signature W XYZ bar. Visitors to the new hotel can also enjoy Dine, an international restaurant serving a variety of culinary delights, and Crush, the outdoor pool-side cafe.
