Sri Lanka’s Anantara Kalutara Resort is preparing for the grand reveal of its magnificent, 680m2 ballroom later this month.
The purpose-built two-story building boasts stunning vistas of the Indian Ocean, as well as an indoor and outdoor pre-function space overlooking the Kalu River.
The state-of-the-art ballroom complex will facilitate a unique setting for weddings, meetings, events and corporate retreats, combined with unparalleled luxury and first-rate leisure and dining facilities.
Offering maximum flexibility, the pillarless ballroom can be divided into two equal sound proof spaces to accommodate meetings and smaller gatherings. Designed by acclaimed architects, MICD, the décor and furnishings are influenced by traditional Sri Lankan designs.
The ballroom comprises an endless list of amenities, including an advanced lighting system and full audio-visual, sound and entertainment infrastructure.
Its capacity is large enough to accommodate up to 400 guests, in addition to banquets and gala dinners for up to 350 guests.
Meetings of various styles can cater to 350 attendees, with four additional meeting rooms available for breakouts and meetings.
An experienced dedicated meeting and events team is on hand to provide personalised planning and delivery of each event.
