Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort to unveil expanded spa this month

This November the luxurious Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort is unleashing its recently expanded, award-winning, two-tier spa, which is re-opening this month with six more treatment rooms, boosting its portfolio to 24, and new male, female as well as couples’ hammam facilities.

On the ground floor of the facility, spa guests are granted access to six single treatment rooms with showers, two beauty rooms, a Thai massage suite, a holistic cocoon room, an Ayurveda suite and three couples’ suites, all of which feature a Serali steam bath, experience showers and an infinity solo pool bath.

Following the refresh, the first floor’s single treatment rooms have doubled to eight, while  two new 34m2 couples’ massage rooms with built in sauna, showers and whirlpool featuring Microsilk technology have been added.

Travel Forward 20

The Turkish-styled hammam houses separate male and female facilities, relaxation areas, changing rooms, a dedicated couples’ hammam, reception and a boutique, selling spa products.

General manager, Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort, Jean-Francois Laurent commented on the spa’s updates: “We are the first spa in the region to introduce Microsilk technology, the bathing experience beauty experts are calling ‘the Fountain of Youth’.  Guests will have the option to upgrade their hammam experience and enjoy the oxygen-rich micro-bubble bath, which is a patented process that supersaturates the water with billions of bubbles, raising oxygen levels up to 70 per cent higher than common tap water, increasing metabolism and promoting the growth of skin cells.”

Adding to its list of updates, Anantara Spa now also offers a broader selection of more than 30 treatments covering wellness therapies from Asia to the Middle East as well as traditional hammam rituals, body and Ayurvedic treatments and results-orientated facials. Each Turkish hammam treatment will include the Anantara signature foot ritual.

Those yearning for a signature experience can select from two 120-minute treatments – the Royal hammam and Nam Jai.

Spa goers are also granted full access to the resort’s Tuk Tuk Kids Club, with complimentary pool and beach access for guests booking Couple’s Quality Time and Anantara Spa Journey treatments. The resort will also relaunch the Wednesday Spa Ladies Night later on in the year.
