Nasser Fadly has been appointed the area director of human resources for InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), Africa.
Assuming this new position with over 30 years of hospitality industry experience, he joined IHG in 1988, and throughout the years, held various positions within the company including that of director of training at Semiramis InterContinental and then area director of training for all IHG hotels in Egypt based at Semiramis.
Moving up the career ladder, he moved on to InterContinental Citystars to join the opening team, where he trained and prepared the staff for the hotel’s opening.
Fadly was then promoted to area director of human resources – Egypt, and since then has taken on increasing levels of responsibility and management within the company’s HR department.
A graduate of the Faculty of Tourism, Fadly also boasts a hotel management diploma from Cornell University in Paris.
As area director of human resources, he will be in charge of the HR, training and development for all IHG properties in Egypt and Africa.
