Rotana recently appointed Tom Stevens as the area general manager for Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Tanzania and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
He joins the Rotana family with extensive hospitality experience and has spent over two decades working for Hilton Hotels & Resorts in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
As the area general manager for Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Tanzania and Congo, Stevens will drive Rotana’s commercial and operational strategies across a portfolio of 15 hotels. He will be tasked with delivering smooth openings for the nine properties that are currently under development in the region.
Stevens will additionally leverage his management expertise to cultivate an operating environment that produces consistent guest satisfaction across all hotels.

Stevens is fluent in four languages and is a graduate of Hotelschool Ter Duinen in his native Belgium. He also holds an MBA from the Open University Business School in London.
