Marriott International’s Autograph Collection is further boosting its already impressive portfolio of unique properties with five new additions.
Each property that falls under the Collection is hand selected for its character and unique details.
Roomers Baden-Baden in Germany, which joins the collection, offers a balance of impressive architecture and design, with sleek interiors by Milan-based architect, Piero Lissoni. The hotel is home to 130 rooms and suites, a gourmet Pan-Asian restaurant, moriki, helmed by famed Berlin Chef Duc Ngo, a lounge bar with a rooftop garden and infinity pool, and a spa.
The Watermark Baton Rouge, Louisiana, has also joined the Autograph Collection’s portfolio, and marks its third property in Louisiana. Having just opened, the hotel is located in the former Louisiana Trust and Savings Bank, which was built in 1925. It features 144 guest rooms with classic industrial features.
Moving on, French Leave Resort, on Eleuthera Island, the Bahamas, is opening this month. The property joins the prestigious Collection due to its traditional architecture. It will grant a secluded escape for those wishing to enjoy the crystal clear and inviting waters of Governors Harbour in the Bahamas. Spanning 270-acres, the resort was designed with the least possible environmental impact. Guests will be able to experience the unspoiled beauty of the French Leave pink sand beach and the destination’s incredible views.
The next property to join the Autograph collection is The Adolphus Hotel in Dallas, Texas, opening this month. A multi-million-dollar renovation to Dallas’ historic downtown landmark, will modernise the property while preserving its history. The renovation entails the complete refurbishment of all guest rooms, public spaces and meeting spaces; the addition of a new ballroom; construction of a rooftop pool and bar; the introduction of a new luxury spa and fitness centre; a facelift of the acclaimed French Room Restaurant; and the development of new dining and retail outlets.
And finally, the last of the five new hotels to join the portfolio is La Ville Hotel & Suites CITY WALK in Dubai, the UAE. The new lifestyle, boutique hotel stands in the heart of CITY WALK, Dubai’s new urban living destination. Opening its doors this month, La Ville Hotel & Suites is a low-rise property which will offer a haven of peace within the buzzing city. Upon opening, the property will offer 77 rooms, 11 suites and 68 apartments.
Enthusing on the new additions was vice president and global lead, Autograph Collection Hotels, Julius Robinson: “We are thrilled to add these five exceptional properties to our growing global portfolio that celebrates individuality. The diversity of our expanded hotel collection provides guests with the most compelling range of travel experiences in the world.”
