Avani Hotels & Resorts has signed for two new properties in Krabi, Thailand.
Each of the already existing resorts will undergo extensive renovations to adopt the Avani standards, offering guests cutting-edge social spaces and modern accommodation.
The two hotels will be fully rebranded into Avani+ Koh Lanta Krabi Resort, set to launch by mid-2020, and Avani Ao Nang Cliff Krabi Resort, which will open its doors under the new branding in late 2019.
Avani+ Koh Lanta Krabi Resort comprises 83 rooms nestled within pristine wooded parklands, offering stunning sea views and direct access to a secluded white sand beach adjacent to the renowned Klong Dao Beach. The island is just 70 km south of Krabi International Airport and can be accessed via a 15-minute ferry crossing from the mainland.
On the other hand, Avani Ao Nang Cliff Krabi Resort will overlook the popular Ao Nang Beach, with 178 keys, a new dining experience and an AvaniSPA relaxation facility. Located just 35 minutes from the Krabi International Airport, guests can easily escape to the popular Ao Nang beach or Railay beach, as well as the outlying islands while staying at the resort.
“We are extremely excited to include Krabi in our portfolio, as the Avani brand expands further through such agreements with trusted partners within Thailand,” vice president of operations, Avani Hotels & Resorts, Javier Pardo commented.
The newly rebranded resorts will bring the total number of Avani properties in Thailand to nine, after the opening of Avani Sukhumvit Bangkok this month.
Avani Hotels & Resorts currently operates 27 properties in Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Africa, and Europe, most recently debuting in both Cambodia and South Korea. The brand has a strong pipeline of new properties under development, including in new destinations such as the Maldives, Mauritius, Vietnam and Yangon.
