Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority (RAKTDA) recently revealed that the popular Awafi Heritage Festival will be returning to Ras Al Khaimah from December 15, 2018, until March 15, 2019.
Taking place at Al Qawasim Corniche, the event pays homage to the emirate’s ethnic and cultural heritage, and features authentic displays and activities for visitors of all ages.
Those attending the festival can enjoy arts and crafts, cultural displays, children’s activities, live entertainment and a traditional market place. The festival has no entry fee and will offer 54 retail kiosks with huge product displays, five food and beverage outlets and refreshments, an 800m2 play area for kids, as well as live entertainment.
Enthusing on the event was CEO, RAKTDA, Haitham Mattar: “We are happy to announce the return of the Awafi Heritage Festival.
