Bawadi Mall has a number of exciting events lined up for the new decade.
The mall’s director of marketing, Bassam Saleh revealed that the management, in collaboration with different stores, has various unique activities and special offerings in store for visitors of all ages throughout the year.
“The year 2020 is going to be more unique and promising for us at Bawadi Mall, especially in light of two major national developments,” Saleh stated. “One is the newest policy of the UAE Government granting a five-year visa to tourists, while the second one is the upcoming Expo 2020 Dubai, which is being touted as the world’s greatest show. As a result, the influx of visitors to the UAE will be massive and we are confident that this will also lead to higher footfall for us.”
Last year, the 140,000m2 Bawadi Mall opened four fashion stores, four food and beverage outlets, three beauty and cosmetic outlets and four different store categories to serve more shoppers and diners. Coinciding with the inauguration of the new stores was the re-opening of redesigned establishments. The new shops at Bawadi Mall reflected not only the vibrant business environment in Al Ain but also the sustained trust of many brands in Bawadi Mall, according to Saleh.
The mall also staged a host of thrilling events in 2019 – the most prominent of which were ‘Around the World,’ ‘RAD Sales,’ and ‘The Winter Wonderland’ – which featured fun-filled initiatives, as well as huge discounts and special offerings launched by many outlets.
Baby Race 4 as well as LOGO’s Game were some of the mall’s unique campaign activities in 2019. The competition for toddlers saw 240 babies aged six to 16 months from different countries taking part in the cutest race ever. On the other hand, LOGO’s Game, Bawadi Mall’s own unique game, is a fresh and innovative idea to play and win by turning the mall’s floor map into a real boardgame.
2019 also saw the introduction of the ‘Happy Monday’ campaign. Since December 2, 2019, the shopping centre has been offering special promotions in many of its 400 establishments during the special day only.
Finally, in a bid to help promote Abu Dhabi’s tourism industry, the management partnered with the Department of Culture and Tourism to organise activities celebrating Abu Dhabi Family Week.
