Introducing something fresh and vibrant to Southeast Asia, Best Western Hotels & Resorts has announced that it will be launching Vib, its new lifestyle boutique brand, in Vientiane, the capital of Laos.
The hospitality specialist has signed an agreement for a new-build Vīb in the city, which is scheduled to open in 2018.
Offering a blend of cutting-edge design, international hospitality and value, the Vib brand holds social engagement, technology and smart, ergonomic design at the core of its ethos. The brand is expected to particularly appeal to Southeast Asia’s new generation of savvy travellers.
Managing director of international operations – Asia, Best Western Hotels & Resorts, Olivier Berrivin commented: “When we first revealed the Vīb concept to the world earlier this year, it was clear that this unique, contemporary product would work extremely well in Southeast Asia – one of the world’s most dynamic regions. It is therefore extremely exciting that we have signed our first Vīb hotel in the region, and there could not be a better setting for it than Vientiane – an exciting up-and-coming regional hub. We look forward to bringing a new era of hospitality to the rising number of visitors to the Lao capital.”
The new Vib property, to be located in the centre of Vientiane, will house 70 rooms, a social lobby area, ‘grab n’ go’ snack station and a ‘Zen Zone’ for relaxation. It will join the existing Best Western Vientiane Hotel in the heart of the Laos capital.
