The general manager of Carlson Rezidor’s Park Inn by Radisson Jeddah Madinah Road in Saudi Arabia, Maram Kokandi, was recently honoured at the 2017 Worldwide Hospitality Awards in Paris with the ‘Best Hotelier’ title.
Kokandi represents Saudi Arabia’s first ever female general manager, thus marking a historic moment with the achievement of the coveted accolade.

Other notable achievements for Carlson Rezidor at the award ceremony included its Park Inn by Radisson brand being recognised as a finalist a for the Best Brand Marketing Operation for INNovation Room – its ground-breaking cocreation programme that unlocks and nurtures creativity and innovation among students at the world’s leading hotel management schools.
Additionally, another finalist for the group was Radisson Blu, in the Best Initiative in Sustainable Development & Social Responsibility category. The recognition was in line with the luxury hotel brand’s impressive Blu Planet water scarcity initiative, a programme that works to provide water-stressed communities around the world with much needed resources.
