Dubai International Airport (DXB) recently welcomed China Eastern’s very first service from Xi’an in China – a city known for its world-famous Terracotta Army.
The Chinese carrier will now offer three-times-weekly flights between the two destinations, which are to be serviced by an A330-200 aircraft.
This new route represents China Eastern’s third non-stop flight to DXB, following the introduction of services to Shanghai and Qingdao.
China is one of DXB’s most important and fastest growing markets with regards to passenger numbers. In H1 of 2019, a total of 1.8 million Chinese passengers were recorded.
