Copthorne Hotel Dubai upgrades leisure and dining portfolio

Copthorne Hotel Dubai

Marking the start of a new era for the property, Copthorne Hotel Dubai has completed a $680,000 refurbishment project spanning its leisure and dining portfolio.

The Deira-based property’s Horizon Health Club now boasts a new look with expanded floor space to accommodate a range of new, state-of-the-art cardio and strength training equipment by Cybex.
All in-house guests can benefit from complimentary access to the fitness centre, while residents can make the most of gym memberships, offered at special introductory rates.

Looking ahead, classes and services such as yoga and personal training will be made available in the coming months.

Meanwhile, the hotel’s Gazebo Pool Terrace makes for the ideal option for guests wishing to unwind and relax on orange-coloured sunbeds. With a curtained pergola, families can enjoy time in their own cabana type setting while watching their children play in their own pool area and with play equipment. Light snacks and refreshing beverages can be ordered from Gazebo Terrace.

Moving on, alfresco dining is now available at Copthorne Hotel Dubai’s Crystal Restaurant. A welcoming patio has been added to the exterior of the outlet that can seat up to 20 guests. Diners can relish in a sumptuous breakfast or a tasty dinner while enjoying the outdoor setting. The patio is also an ideal meeting space for a special evening or a gathering after work with friends.

General manager, Copthorne Hotel Dubai, Glenn Nobbs declared: “We are delighted to announce the completion of our refurbishment projects aimed at further enhancing our guests’ experience, which were necessary to keep in step with the needs and expectations of our guests’ demands. Having turned 10 this year, we are dedicated to continue making improvements on the hotel, while living up to our brand promise of providing the perfect balance of comfort, service and affordability to all of our guests.”

Earlier on in the year, Copthorne Hotel Dubai completed a soft refurbishment of its 82 one- and two-bedroom suites, and installed two new energy efficient chillers to reduce the hotel’s carbon footprint.

Looking ahead, the property will refurbish its 210 guest rooms. This will be completed floor by floor and will work to provide guests with a practical and comfortable guestroom.
