Cour des Loges hotel in Vieux-Lyon, a UNESCO World Heritage listed district, will soon be joining Radisson Hotel Group’s highly acclaimed Radisson Collection.
This new development brings the hospitality expert’s portfolio in France to 19 hotels and 3,280 keys in operation or under development.
Standing in the historic Vieux-Lyon district, Cour des Loges will undergo an extensive renovation in 2021 to transform it into a Radisson Collection-branded property. Radisson Hotel Group will work to preserve the hotel’s character and history of the building.
Executive vice president and chief development officer, Radisson Hotel Group, Elie Younes enthused on the development: “Radisson Collection is a relevant brand to owners and guests alike – around 35 hotels have joined the brand in less than 18 months. We are very pleased to announce the signing of our third Radisson Collection hotel in France. We thank our partners for their trust in our brand and people.”
Following the renovation works, Cour des Loges will appeal to both business and leisure travellers. It will house 60 rooms, including two junior suites and four suites. Facilities include a fitness centre and spa with a swimming pool, sauna, hammam, jacuzzi, relaxation room and two treatment rooms. For corporate guests, the hotel will offer 343m2 of meeting space spread across six meeting rooms.
Adding to this, the hotel will offer guests a variety of gourmet fine dining options, including Michelin star chef Anthony Bonnet’s restaurant, Les Loges. Diners can also indulge in the bistro Le Café-Épicerie or relax in the cigarette lounge bar, Le Bar Fumoir. Special cooking classes will also be hosted by experts at La Petite Loge.
