Courtyard by Marriott World Trade Center, Abu Dhabi celebrated its highest occupancy rates to date during the first three quarters of 2017.
“Courtyard by Marriott World Trade Center Abu Dhabi is celebrating its best occupancy rate this year at 82 per cent, the highest rate we have come across since our opening,” enthused general manager, Courtyard by Marriot World Trade Center, Abu Dhabi, Matthias Widor.
“We are about 80 per cent of the way to reaching our sales target, which we plan to achieve by the fourth quarter of 2017. Despite tough competition in the capital, our forecast shows positive growth measure for Courtyard by Marriott World Trade Center for the rest of year,” he added.
Widor credited events such as International Defence Exhibition and Conference (IDEX), WorldSkills Abu Dhabi, International Diabetes Federation (IDF Congress) and the 2017 Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix for their contribution to the successful promotion of the hotel.
The property’s outstanding amenities, as well as the constant expansion of new technologies, have attracted a local and global niche market. Innovations such as a mobile check-in and check-out, or service requests using the cutting-edge Marriott mobile application, enable the hotel to create a convenient and relaxing atmosphere among its on-the-go guests.
Widor concluded: “As we enter into our fourth year of operations at Courtyard by Marriott World Trade Center, Abu Dhabi, our focus remains on building a very special reputation internationally and within the UAE, and on driving the perception as the leading four-star deluxe hotel in downtown Abu Dhabi, a strength that we have been incorporating in our brand since our opening.”
