With a clear vision for 2016, Danat Hotels & Resorts (a division of National Corporation for Tourism and Hotels) will be focusing on exploring new markets, developing new revenue streams and delivering exceptional service this year.
This operational plan was discussed during the company’s first General Manager’s Meet for 2016, which took place at Danat Jebel Dhanna Resort.
The congregation was attended by general managers from all 10 Danat properties including: Al Raha Beach Hotel, Danat Al Ain Resort, Danat Jebel Dhanna Resort, Tilal Liwa Hotel, Mercure Grand Jebel Hafeet Al Ain Hotel, Danat Residence, Oryx Hotel, Dhafra Beach Hotel, Century Hotel Apartments and Green Mubazzarah Chalets.
Heading the event was operations director, Danat Hotels & Resorts, Manoj Kanwal. The general managers investigated various strategies to boost revenue and opportunities in order to align all hotels with the objectives and vision of Danat Hotels & Resorts.
Kanwal commented: “Current market conditions and the drop in oil prices are certainly going to pose an immense challenge for the entire hospitality industry. We are already seeing the effects of this situation however Danat Hotels & Resorts portfolio includes some very unique properties and we will continue to explore new markets, developing new revenue streams and maintain our focus of delivering exceptional service to each guest and stay ahead of the game.”
Throughout the General Manager’s Meet, discussions were held to uncover areas of improvement and the efforts taken on an individual hotel basis to ensure guest and employee satisfaction.
This year, Danat Hotel & Resorts will aim for better integration of operational and marketing practices on a group level. Several new concepts to enhance the brand value and make it more socially responsible will also be introduced while the group will continue to focus on the development of employees at all levels over the course of the year.
