One of our goals in 2019 is to continue to engage and strengthen our relationships with the Chinese travel trade and ITB China provides us with an ideal platform to achieve this.
“Additionally, we want to underline Abu Dhabi as a premier tourism destination for travellers, especially those from China, and we are keen to expand our network of Chinese partners in order to ensure that Abu Dhabi is known as an extraordinary destination,” Al Saeed added.
In 2018, China was one of the regions that posted significant growth of hotel guests in Abu Dhabi, alongside India and the USA. During ITB China, DCT Abu Dhabi aims to develop strong partnerships and marketing initiatives to bolster Abu Dhabi’s reputation as a destination of distinction. The Authority will also work to leverage its appeal, while raising awareness of the emirate’s destination campaign.
