Boosting its portfolio of properties, Deutsche Hospitality has welcomed two new members to its Egypt portfolio: the Taba Hotel & Nelson Village in Taba and the Cairo Pyramids Hotel in Gizeh.
Following extensive renovation works until the close of 2017, both hotels will operate under the company’s well-respected Steigenberger Hotels and Resorts brand.
The Cairo Pyramids Hotel is home to 304 guestrooms and grants picturesque views of the Pyramids of Gizeh. Facilities include six restaurants and two bars, a conference and wedding room, a gym, two swimming pools and a range of shopping opportunities.
Situated on the northern end of the Sinai Peninsula, the Taba Hotel & Nelson Village offers its very own beach, 401 rooms, including 32 suites, a ballroom, a conference room, four restaurants and three bars and cafés. Leisure facilities include two swimming pools, three tennis courts, a massage centre, a shopping centre with 45 outlets and a casino.
CEO, Deutsche Hospitality, Puneet Chhatwal enthused on the news: “For many years, Egypt has been a good market for our Steigenberger hotel brand. As we believe in the attractiveness of the country as holiday and business destination, we have recently expanded our presence in Egypt. Currently, we are operating 10 hotels and three cruise ships on the River Nile and the Lake Nasser in the country.”
