Rohitha Pradeep has been appointed as Hyatt Regency Dubai’s new director of food and beverage.
Prior to joining the hotel, Pradeep worked as the assistant director of food and beverage at Grand Hyatt Dubai.
In his new position, he will manage the F&B operations at Hyatt Regency Dubai, which is home to Al Dawaar, a revolving rooftop restaurant; Miyako, an authentic Japanese restaurant; and other outlets. He is additionally expected to create exciting new F&B concepts to provide guests with engaging and energetic experiences.
Pradeep concluded his studies in hospitality management at Ceylon Hotel School in 2000. He kick-started his career at Taj Samudra Colombo, Sri Lanka in July 2000 and later moved on to work at Hilton Colombo.
In March 2003, Pradeep joined Hyatt hotels as part of the pre-opening team of Grand Hyatt Dubai, where he gained valuable experience in various F&B roles. In November 2012, he was promoted to assistant director food and beverage.
