Oryx Rotana in Doha has opened its arms to Delphine Maillard who has been appointed to serve as its new director of food and beverage.
Maillard joins the team with 22 years of hotel industry experience. She boasts a degree in Hospitality Management from Lycée Alexandre Dumas School in France and has trained in various hotels in France from a young age.
She has worked in a number of five-star hotels spanning the UK, Maldives, the UAE, Qatar and Scotland. Maillard has also obtained experience working at Michelin star restaurants.
Throughout her career she has been involved in one hotel refurbishment and has dealt two hotel openings.
She remarked: “I’m happy to be back in Qatar. I look forward to our plans in refurbishments of the Oryx Rotana Hotel and to further enhance their already exceptional guests’ experience.”
Meanwhile, cluster director of marketing and communications, Oryx Rotana, Lana Jwainat noted: “Delphine’s affluence of knowledge in this industry has already made her a key addition to Oryx Rotana family.
