Gerrit Haertprich has joined the Sheraton Amman Al Nabil family as director of sales and marketing.
Haertprich will now work to drive the hotel’s revenue generation and marketing, while also leading the sales team and building strong and lasting relationship with current and future clients.
Following his stint as account director at Arabella Sheraton Complex Sales Office Munich in 2000, Haertprich implemented successful strategies and managed diverse teams at a number of hotels in Germany and Spain. During his tenure at Marriott Hotel Leipzig, he positioned the hotel as the market leader and was crowned ‘Sales Leader in 2016’ at the Marriot President Circle Awards, having achieved the highest total revenue in the hotel’s history. Haertprich then surpassed his 2016 achievement in 2017 and delivered the highest RevPAR in the hotel’s history.
Commenting on his new challenge, Haertprich declared: “I am very excited to join the team of professionals at Sheraton Amman and looking forward to contribute to the long-lasting success of the hotel with my experience and knowledge. At the same time, I am aware that there is a lot for me to learn from my colleagues, our partners and the market. I like challenges and am open minded and not afraid to explore new opportunities.
“Having worked in Europe my entire life, I am thrilled to join Marriott organisation in Jordan and will be working together with the Sales team to drive revenue and REVPAR growth,” he concluded.
