Corinthia Hotels has entered into a partnership with UAE-based Meydan Group to provide technical services and manage an upscale beachfront resort, which is currently under construction in Dubai and is scheduled to open in 2019.
This latest move forms part of a development plan being undertaken by Meydan Group, which comprises of a number of large scale mixed-use urban and leisure developments across various locations in Dubai.
Being built on the site of the former Meydan Beach Club, Corinthia at Meydan Beach will be home to 300 bedrooms and 60 high-end serviced apartments. Guests will be charmed by landscaped pools and gardens cascading onto the beach, as well as extensive indoor and outdoor leisure and dining facilities, a luxury spa, a club and banqueting amenities.
Meanwhile, a 55-storey tower comprising residential apartments, bedrooms, suites and entertainment zones will sit atop one side of the podium, offering picturesque views of the Palm Island and the Dubai Eye under development across the waters.
