Dubai to embrace EDITION hotel in 2018 to be managed by Marriott international

In partnership with Ian Shrager Company and Dubai Properties, Marriott international has announced plans for the second EDITION hotel in the UAE, which is due to open in Dubai in 2018.

The hotel, to be managed by Marriott International under a long-term agreement, will follow the 2016 debut of the UAE’s first EDITION property, to open in Abu Dhabi.

Boasting 258 keys, the hotel will occupy a beach front location on Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR), providing guests with easy access to various leisure, retail, dining and entertainment outlets.

EDITION is a luxury-lifestyle brand which offers its guests a personal, intimate, individualised and unique hotel experience.

Set to open in Q1 of 2018, the new hotel will house a number of F&B outlets as well as business and leisure facilities including a spa, a beach club, meeting and special event space and a fully equipped business centre.

Future EDITION-branded hotels are planned for Abu Dhabi (2016), Sanya, China (2016), Bangkok (2016), Thailand, Times Square (2018),  West Hollywood (2018), the US,  Reykjavik, Iceland (2018), Wuhan, China (2019), and Bali, Indonesia (2019).
