Egyptair has enhanced its codeshare partnership with Thai Airways, by incorporating new destinations in Thailand into its network portfolio.
This agreement will enable Egyptair to place its code on Thai Airways flights between Bangkok and Phuket and between Bangkok and Chiang Mai in conjunction with Cairo vv.
Enthusing on the news was chairman and CEO, Egyptair Holding, Sheif Fathy: “This agreement is a reflection of Egyptair care to provide its customers with seamless travel options around the world. As well, this agreement comes in light of the mutual cooperation with our partners in Star Alliances.”
Meanwhile, Chairman and CEO of Egyptair Airlines, Captain Hisham El- Nahas added: “Egyptair customers can now book their flights to two of the top leisure destinations in Thailand through Egyptair sales channels. Moreover, our fruitful cooperation with Thai has encouraged us to enhance the existing relationship through network connectivity growth and delivering benefits to consumers.”
Meanwhile, also forming part of the codeshare partnership, Thai Airways is placing its code on Egyptair’s services between Cairo and Bangkok.
Following this news, Egyptair customers can now benefit from mutually-coordinated timetables with convenient connections between Egypt and Thailand.
