In a bid to bolster tourism for both Egypt and KSA, the Elaf Group hosted a meeting with Egypt’s Minister of Tourism, HE Hisham Zazou, at the Elaf Jeddah Hotel, Red Sea Mall.
Present to welcome Zazou were Elaf senior officials such as vice president travel and tourism, Mohammad Bin Mahfouz, vice president hotels, Abdullah Bakri and vice president marketing, Jawaid Abdul Hameed while the Elaf team was headed by chief operating officer, Asim Abdullah Danish.
During the meeting, both parties discussed how to increase two-way tourism for Elaf customers in Egypt and the KSA. The Egyptian delegation encouraged the Elaf Group to promote Sharm El Sheikh, a city situated on the southern tip of the Sinai Peninsula and along the coastal strip of the Red Sea in Egypt, to its customers visiting the country. Lastly, the two parties also expressed intentions to explore possible investment and partnership opportunities that would be beneficial to both Egypt and KSA.
Danish of Elaf Group said: “We are pleased to have hosted this special meeting with Egyptian Tourism Minister, His Excellency Hisham Zazou and his delegation. We are confident that today’s meeting will later result in stronger ties between Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Egypt, especially in the move to promote Egypt as a key tourist destination and to position Elaf Hotels as a highly preferred venue for stay by visiting tourists. We look forward to working closely with Egypt’s Ministry of Tourism and help in developing their tourism industry.”
