Aiming to inform travellers about the KSA’s impressive offering, Elaf Group will be promoting the country’s tourism opportunities through strategic marketing tours in Istanbul, Turkey; Cairo, Egypt; Casablanca, Morocco; and Jakarta, Indonesia throughout October.
The Group will be shedding light on attractive tour packages as well as the many cultural attractions that the Kingdom has to offer, especially to religious travellers.
In line with Saudi Vision 2030, the Kingdom is actively working to enhance its tourism sector, with recent reports forecasting that the industry will increase its contribution to the country’s GDP from 5.4 per cent to 5.7 per cent by 2020. In light of this, the public sector aims to boost business and increase the number of Hajj and Umrah pilgrims to 20 million by 2030.
CEO, Elaf Group, Ziyad Bin Mahfouz noted: “We continue to innovate with our service offerings for our guests such as extended and all-inclusive packages for all our hotels in Saudi Arabia, to facilitate and guarantee a comfortable stay, so that they can explore other parts of the country before or after their Hajj or Umrah performance.”
Mahfouz continued: “We stand in solidarity with the government in promoting the tourism sector to help strengthen the economy and reinforce the country’s position in the international arena. The country holds wonderful opportunities for religious tourism in particular. We work hard towards achieving the unified goal indicated by Saudi Vision 2030.”
