Element Hotels, Marriott International’s eco-conscious brand, has officially entered the Middle East and Africa market, with the opening of Element Me’aisam in Dubai.
The new hotel, ideal for short- and long-stay visitors, is located in Dubai Production City, within arm’s reach of Dubai Sports City and City Centre Me’aisam. It forms part of Marriott International’s newest hotel complex in Dubai, which also houses Aloft Me’aisam.
President and managing director – Middle East and Africa, Marriott International, Alex Kyriakidis enthused on the new addition: “A recognised industry leader in the eco-space, Element promotes a life in balance with its emphasis on wellness and sustainability, and we are excited to debut the brand in a city like Dubai, where sustainability remains a key focus across all sectors.
“With the debut of Element, the UAE is now home to 16 of our brands across more than 50 hotels,” he added.
Specifically designed with the contemporary, healthy and active traveller in mind, all Element hotels have a nature-inspired design philosophy, offering guests clean, modern and bright options.
The brand-new Element Me’aisam, which is LEED certified, was built green from the ground up. It comprises plenty of natural light and open spaces, and offers guests healthier lifestyle options.
The freshly opened hotel is home to 168 light-filled studios and one-bedroom suites with a fluid design, fully-equipped kitchens, spa-inspired bathrooms and signature Heavenly Beds. All rooms are equipped with SPG Keyless, a mobile check-in system that allows guests to use their mobile phones as room keys.
Those staying at the property can make the most of an outdoor pool, the Motion Fitness Center and a complimentary Bikes to Borrow programme. The Rise breakfast at the hotel features healthy and fresh options, including juices and breakfast wraps, while guests can also wind down at the end of the day and enjoy complimentary appetisers and beverages during the Relax evening reception. Electric vehicle charging stations are also available at the hotel.
General manager, Element Me’aisam, Stuart Birkwood declared: “Element brings a new experience to the hotel landscape in the region by catering to the eco-conscious, longer stay guest looking to maintain a balanced lifestyle while they travel.
“We look forward to bringing the Element brand to life not only from a product and design perspective but through our innovative programming and service throughout the property,” he concluded.
