Emirates Airline has introduced its long-awaited new first class private suites and has shed light on the redesign of the interiors of its Boeing 777 aircraft.
The brand-new private suites feature floor to ceiling sliding doors with sleek and modern lines, offering up to 3.7m2 of personal space in a 1-1-1 configuration.
The Emirates 777 aircraft boasts newly-designed seats and upgraded inflight entertainment systems throughout all cabins.
President, Emirates Airline, Sir Tim Clark remarked on the development: “The inflight experience is the heart of our brand and service proposition. The new 777 interiors that we are unveiling today is part of Emirates’ ongoing investment to continually raise the bar and exceed our customers’ expectations.
“Aside from our new fully enclosed private suites, business class features our latest fully-flat leather seats with personal minibars, economy class seats have adjustable full leather headrests, and the inflight entertainment system has been upgraded for all cabin classes. Throughout the aircraft, our customers will see modern and airy cabins, with painstaking attention to detail evident in design touches,” he added.
The airline’s latest offering is in collaboration with Mercedes-Benz S-Class, combining elements from both brands to bring luxury, innovation and comfort.
Extending its new offering on-ground, Mercedes-Benz will provide a fleet of its S-Class vehicles as part of the complimentary chauffer-drive service for first class passengers.
Other notable upgrades to the airline’s luxury services include virtual windows for suites in the middle aisle; a new video call function; over 2,500 channels of on-demand entertainment; and on-demand dining, with gourmet dishes and beverages available.
The upgraded Emirates 777 aircraft will enter commercial service on December 1, 2017, making its debut on flights to Geneva and Brussels.
