Due to participate at the Bahrain International Airshow 2016, Emirates Airline will be displaying its two-class configured A380 aircraft for the first time, granting trade visitors and the public to familiarise themselves with the double-decker.
Vice president commercial operations – Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, Emirates Airline, Khalid Al Haddad on the importance on the event: “The Bahrain International Airshow is an elite event with a strong international standing in the aerospace business community. The A380 on display demonstrates our commitment to the Kingdom of Bahrain and it showcases Emirates as a global airline supporting the growth of aviation in the region.”
The airline’s A380 features 58 flatbed seats in business class and 557 spacious seats in economy class, as well as the popular OnBoard Lounge.
As the largest operator of the aircraft, Emirates Airline will be adding Washington D.C, Birmingham, Prague and Taipei to its A380 network this year.
The carrier’s inventory currently comprises of 72 A380s in service and has a further 68 on firm order.
